Year 9

Year 9 Have produced these fabulous lino prints based on the  ‘Day of the Dead’ Festival. Each print is a reduction lino cut produced in more than one colour, quite a tricky process to master.


Year 9 have recently completed sculptures inspired by  the ‘Day of the Dead’ festival which is celebrated in Mexico. The project offered pupils the opportunity to learn about how other cultures celebrate life, through death. Pupils constructed their sculptures from wire newspaper and plaster.  Below are a selection of the completed sculptures.
